23rd February 2008 Windsurfing: Blithfield Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F3-5 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: Cold Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Hard work - pump to plane in the gusts then drop off the plane in the lulls. Too many lulls for a 6.7 - those on 7.5's and 9's were faring better. Managed a few gybes and then practiced tacks and front to sail - water too cold to risk falling in too much. A good turn-out - never crowded though. |
